Cláudio Boavida Fernandes joined DTA in February 2019, contributing to all areas of practice, with an interest in litigation and dispute resolution, labour, corporate matters, and intellectual property.
Prior to joining DTA, Cláudio worked at Timorese law firm Abreu e C&C Advogados, having acquired valuable knowledge in the corporate and criminal areas.
Cláudio holds a Law Degree (Licenciatura) from Universidade Nasional Timor Lorosa’e, and successfully completed the training course for private lawyers conducted by the Legal and Judicial Training Centre of Timor-Leste, being duly qualified to practice law in Timor-Leste. He has been registered as an attorney-at-law with the Council for the Management and Discipline of the Legal Profession (CGDA) since 2016.
Cláudio speaks Portuguese, Tetum, and English.
