Ross McKinlay joined DTA in March 2023, specializing in climate change, environmental, and public law. He advises on carbon farming projects like Rai Matak and WithOneSeed, contributed to the Climate Change Framework Law, and works on Carbon Capture and Storage initiatives.
With previous roles at a prominent Australian KC and Clayton Utz, Ross brings expertise in public sector and environmental law.
He holds degrees in Law and International Studies from the University of Sydney, with a scholarship from Australia’s Department of Foreign Affairs for Indo-Pacific studies.
Ross speaks English, Spanish, French, Mandarin, Portuguese, and Tetum.
